Privacy notice
Privacy notice
This is a plain-language description of how OpenScholars handles the works and contact details people send us. The editorial team may update it, and it has not been reviewed as a legal document.
What we collect
Your first name, surname, email address, home country, the short description you write, and the document you upload (including its file name). To limit automated abuse we also briefly count requests per connection; this is kept in memory only and is not stored with your submission.
Why we collect it
To review your work, decide whether to publish it, and contact you about your submission.
Who can see it
Only the OpenScholars editorial team. Your contact details are never shown on the website, and your document is not published unless the team decides to publish it and has the necessary permissions.
Where it is stored
Submissions are kept privately on our server, outside any publicly accessible folder.
How long we keep it
We have not finalised a retention period yet. This section will be updated when we do.
Questions or deletion requests
To ask about your submission or request that it be removed, contact us through our Telegram channel: t.me/openscholaruz (opens in a new tab).
